Technical Sales Engineer
Description
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Oil & Gas operations.
  • Manage technical sales activities, business development, and key account relationships.
  • Analyze client technical requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with international industry standards and specifications (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, Oil & Gas operators, and end users.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, projects, and operations teams to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Organize and manage sales documentation, including financial documents (Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Invoices) and non-financial records (Tenders, Clarifications, Due Dates).
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and maintain organized filing systems in collaboration with the Finance Department.
  • Handle urgent client communications when sales representatives are unavailable.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Tendering, Finance, and Procurement departments to ensure timely correspondence and high client satisfaction.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in technical sales within the Oil & Gas industry (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Solid understanding of Oil & Gas industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP is an advantage
