OCTG products are classified into three main categories: Drill Pipe (used for drilling through rock formations), Casing Pipe (used to support and protect the wellbore), and Tubing Pipe (used to transport oil and gas from the reservoir to the surface). API 5CT is the primary industry specification governing OCTG products.
