Butt Weld Elbows are manufactured in a wide range of dimensions (combinations of outside diameter and wall thickness) to match carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel pipes in accordance with ASME B36.10 and ASME B36.19 standards, in sizes ranging from 2″ to 48″ and larger.

Butt Weld Elbows up to 24″ are typically manufactured by cutting, heating, and forming seamless steel pipes, while larger sizes are produced from welded pipes or fabricated steel plates.

The three most commonly used elbow configurations in piping systems are 45°, 90°, and 180° (Return) Elbows.
