Logistics Supervisor
Description

- Provide quotations for FCL, LCL, and air shipments from the export and import teams. - Issue and send shipping instructions to shipping lines and agents.

- Revise and send draft bills of lading (BL) to the export and import teams.

- Issue Certificates of Origin for all export shipments and coordinate internal procedures.

- Request and revise necessary documents such as Euro 1, Form A, COMESSA, and fumigation certificates for all export shipments.

- Follow up with our representative in Alexandria regarding the status of bills of lading and freight forwarder invoices.

- Issue official letters (TELEX, delegation, amendments, etc.).

- Organize daily loading operations procedures.

- Monitor loading operations by preparing the loading sheet after stuffing and weighing, and sending port documents to brokers (including invoices and packing lists).

- Issue payment requests for both import and export shipments.

- Prepare insurance policy requests for import and export shipments.

- Coordinate with the Finance department regarding the status of payment requests for insurance, import, and export shipments.

- Prepare weekly reports on the status of payment requests.

- Follow up on export filing by requesting new files and preparing documents such as bills of lading and certificates.

- Collect all export shipment bill of lading copies for government incentive proposals. - Coordinate with our brokers on customs procedures.

- Track lead times in collaboration with the export and production teams.

- Follow up with shipping lines regarding freight costs, bookings, vessel dates, etc.

- Manage documentation processes between the export team and shipping lines, as well as with freight forwarders.

- Stay updated on forecasted order details with the export team.

- Handle correspondence with the export team regarding order status, loading forecasts, pending loadings, and any agent issues.

- Prepare weekly reports on pending tasks, sea freight costs, and daily operations.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports detailing loading containers, pending issues, and freight profit.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field from a reputable university.

- A maximum of 7–10 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
