Valves Maintenance repair Engineer
Description
- Survey equipment on receiving and set repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Perform maintenance and repair of parts to restore function and testing according to standards.
- Well learned about API codes and standard's
- Well educated about different verities of valves and function of each type as well as different methods of repair and maintenance for valves
- Assist in the setup of repairs when necessary
- Maintain a time plan for receiving and delivery
- Track received parts, reports per each, serial tracking, etc…
- Manage workplan on daily basis with workshop supervisor
- Report daily progress, daily consumption and achievements
- Keep record for each part and its technical procedures and material consumption, working hours, worker name, etc…
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
Responsibilities
- Engineering degree
- Proven experience ( 2 – 3 years) as maintenance & repair engineer
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems of valves
- Knowledge of general maintenance/repair processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Good knowledge of ERP software's
