QC Engineer
Description
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
- Conduct visual inspections of products, welded joints, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like ultrasonic, radiographic, or magnetic particle testing.
- Review welding procedures and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with engineers and welding personnel to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain records and documentation related to QC and welding inspections.
- Provide guidance on proper welding techniques and procedures to ensure quality standards.
- Develop plans and methods for testing products to ensure their quality.
- Examination of problems and errors in products, knowing the causes and trying to find solutions.
- Sending reports of all problems encountered by the products to the factory and production managers.
- Preparing recommendations for training programs required for workers who may cause a reduction in product quality.
- Sending suggestions that will improve quality level of products.
- Prepare detailed reports on all products defects when exists.
Responsibilities
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience not less than one year in the field of quality control or two years in the field of metal industries
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
