Logistics Specialist
  • Arranging the importation Follow up process in terms of shipping docs, material readiness for all direct and indirect products.
  • Follow up financial settlement related to the purchase orders to ensure that shipments will be arranged on time & without any delay.
  • Arrange shipping procedures with our accredited freight forwarders, evaluate quotations and negotiate rates.
  • Follow up since booking creation with suitable vessel details, collection, and departure from port of loading till arrival at port of discharge.
  • Review original shipping documents, follow ACI filing process with vendors and review import certificate through NAFEZA.
  • Arranging the clearance process with external brokers till goods reach our site.
  • Receiving, reviewing service providers payments against contracts or quotations and releasing invoices to finance to be paid.
  • Following payment issuance from finance as per agreed payment terms.
  • Preparing shipments follow up sheet on weekly basis for clear spot update for any shipment.
  • Participate in service provider’s performance evaluation and assessment.
  • Evaluate, enhance and develop our awarded facilities from our service providers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration/Logistics or equivalent from a reputable university.
  • 3– 5 years of experience maximum in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent Computer Skills, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Presentation Skills.
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Operational Excellence, Attention to Details & Analytical Ability.
  • Excellent Command of the English Language for both spoken and written.
